MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING
Monday, February 26, 2007
The Old Lyme Zoning Commission held a Special Meeting on Monday, February 26, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in the Auditorium of Memorial Town Hall. Members present were Ted Kiritsis (Chairman), Jane Marsh (Secretary), Jane Cable, John Johnson and Steven Ames (Alternate, seated). Also present was Ann Brown, Zoning Enforcement Officer.
1. Regulation Rewrite
Section 17, Aquifer Protection
The Commission would like to use the existing aquifer protection regulations, as updated.
17.A.2/17.A.5 – Please change Planning Commission to Zoning Commission everywhere it appears in this section. Also, please change the table to reflect E-Z instead of E-P.
17.B.4.2 – second to last sentence, change to “. . . provided that the tank is installed in a full containment structure and on a concrete slab.”
Section 16, Erosion and Sedimentation Control
Okay as written.
Section 19, Signs
Section 19.5.5 – a through h should be a through g (missing c).
The Commission requests that Attorney Branse attend the next Regulation Rewrite Meeting to discuss Section 19.
2. Adjourn
A motion was made by Steve Ames, seconded by John Johnson and voted unanimously to adjourn at 8:32 p.m.
